About Me
Without giving away my entire identity (if you know me in real life, that’s cool), I’m a guy; I’m 40; I live in Northern Virginia. (So sort of at the hub of all the nonsense the US government is doing or not doing on any given day.)
I’m into games (video, board, card, etc.), curling, and professional wrestling. Sometimes I travel to do those things, and I will post here about them.
I have a “YouTube channel.” I use the quotes because right now, it’s mostly just videos of me playing Caves of Qud. Eventually, I might do more with it. Making videos takes time, even when you just record yourself doing things you were doing anyway, and I’m not trying to be a “content creator,” I’m just trying to get dumb ideas out of my dumb head in a way that isn’t just me babbling to my friends.
I also just linked this site to my BlueSky account. I might also put nonsense there.

About the Site
The idea right now is that I will do things – play games, watch shows, travel… all the stuff I already do anyway. Then, I’ll blog about it. I’ll mention what was fun, what wasn’t, etc. The bit will be that everything will ultimately be described as “fine.” Hence the name. Sometimes, that might be true – the thing in question will be fine. Other times, it’ll be good to great, and calling it “fine” will be a comical understatement. Other other times, it might be bad, and calling it “fine” will be comical overstatement. Who knows? (This whole thing is basically one of those “dumb ideas” I just mentioned above; we’ll see how long it sticks around.)
