It’s been over a month (again) and I have some ideas for longer posts, but right now, I got nothin’. But it’s my birthday! Yay? I guess.
I mean, it’s good to have made it to another one, right? It beats not doing that.
I could have a party, but who the hell has time for that? (I mean, I had one 4 years ago and that was a nice time. I could invite people over for games and cocktails any time, though. Maybe I should do that…)
Also, you know who else doesn’t have time for that? EVERYBODY ELSE. Just like adults aren’t able to coordinate playing D&D or board games or whatever, they aren’t able to coordinate a birthday. (Last month, for my friend’s birthday, our core group was split across 3-4 different events, but we managed to make that into part of the event, including doing what was basically bothering someone at work.)
Regardless of age, though, some things just continue on. There are too many Magic prereleases, and too much crap to watch, and too many chores to do around the apartment.
And there are too many AEW pay-per-views, but I’m gonna watch one on Saturday, and it’s gonna be a good time. And maybe I’ll order myself a hat.
